Walking in the Neighborhood

I guess this is what you would call "boyz in the hoods." We're just chillin', so to speak. If you look closely, you can see that Daniel is wearing a dynamite pair of shoes. Little knit mocassins that look fabu.

New Teeth

Such a nice face--and we can now say that he has "teeth." For a short while, we could only say that "he has tooth."

I'm told that the teeth and the drool go together. [note the specimen on his chin...]

As proud parents, we would like to say that this picture shows just how good Daniel is at drooling. He has such well developed saliva.

Crib Biting

Solid food.

We knew that when he started teething, he would get interested in solid foods. However, we did not realize just how solid the food would be.... Here he is gnawing on the side-rails. We are now on our third crib, and we have had to call a plumber a few times because Daniel has developed a propensity for buiding dams in the bathtub when we are not looking.

six-month chillin' session

Daniel is smiling widely trying to show off his new tooth! That's right--he has a nipper busting through his gums, and another one close on its heels. This picture was taken on his six-month birthday, relatively early in the morning (for adults).

He has started eating solid food, too. However, we are restraining ourselves from posting one of those "kid with messy face" pictures....
